PROJECT SUMMARY:

As part of its Imaging 3.0 initiative, the American College of Radiology wanted a case study to explain how an urban hospital with limited resources built a successful lung cancer screening program to serve high-risk patients.

We interviewed a multidisciplinary team of physicians who developed the lung cancer screening program at Montefiore Health System in New York, along with one of their patients, about the benefits of annual screening.

This award-winning case study details how physicians collaborated across departments to establish a life-saving program to detect early-stage lung cancer.
