Jonathan Congdon and Carl Daikeler founded Product Partners LLC in 1998 because they realized they were good at creating comprehensive DVD-based weight loss programs like Beachbody, Power 90 and P90X. Three years later, when they launched online message boards for customers to cheer each other on, they realized they were also good at building communities beyond their products.
